HISD Asian Advisory Committee Celebrates 2011 Lunar New Year
The Houston Independent School District Asian Advisory Committee was formed in the fall of 2005 to foster a closer relationship between the district and Asian community in support of student achievements.
On February 24, 2011, a celebration was hosted at the Kim Son Restaurant in downtown Houston, Texas honoring the outstanding Asian teachers, student clubs and teachers with service of 25 years and over.
It was truly an honor to be in the company of the individuals dedicated to the education of the young men and women of tomorrow.
Here’s a picture of members from The Philippine American Chamber of Commerce-Texas, Houston Royal Oaks Lions Club, Asian Student Clubs Scholarship Recipients and Osias Mendoza, 2011 Outstanding Asian-Pacific American Teacher, with Dr. Kimberly Agnew Borders, Principal of Wesley Elementary.
Event: Belmont Village Assisted Living Celebrates
The Belmont Village Assisted Living Community at West University achieved 12 months of 100% occupancy. Management and staff celebrated this remarkable achievement by having a party at the facility on February 1, 2011. The Fun Photo Booth brought the fun and I made sure I captured it. From the looks of the event and photo booth pictures, looks like everyone had a blast.
Good luck to you in 2011 for another repeat performance and thanks again for allowing us this opportunity to celebrate with you!

Event:Lunar New Year Party…
January 27th 2011 – Yellow Magazine and Momentum BMW Southwest hosted the pre-Lunar New Year Party with co-hosts The Asian American Bar Association, Hope Initiative, Asia Society Young Professionals, Chinese American Citizens Alliance, Asian Chamber of Commerce, Houston Royal Oaks Lions Club, Philippine American Chamber of Commerce-Texas and Filipino Young Professionals.
The organizations celebrated the Year of the Rabbit, network with each other as well as enjoy the entertainment provided by Lee’s Golden Dragon, J&H Dance School and music by DJ John Chen.

Catching Up
It’s been quite sometime since my last post. I’ve been pretty busy working with The Fun Photo Booth at weddings and parties. 2 weeks ago I was at a couple of training photo seminars featuring Clay Blackmore, Jeff Medford and Ross Hockrow. Last week it was with Doug Box and Randy Kerr. These were fantastic events covering photography and hi definition video. Then, last weekend I photographed the Houston Royal Oaks Lions Club induction of officers and members held at the Renaissance Hotel in Houston.
Whew!!! So much fun, so many photos to process. Well that’s it for now. Back to the darkroom, err, PC…

Event:Prescott’s Arabian Night
going away party at their residence was so much fun! The guests were wined and dined and even entertained by a belly dancer. It was definitely a night to remember. The Prescott’s will be missed. Good luck to y’all!

Event:Diane and Jason
Surrounded by friends and family, Diane and Jason tied the knot on March 06, 2010. The memorable event took place outdoors at Vargos Restaurant in Houston, TX. Here’s a few of the shots I took. You can also see THE FUN PHOTO BOOTH pictures at www.thefunphotobooth.com.

Event:Gio’s 1st Birthday
Hosted by mom and dad, Gio celebrated his 1st birthday party with friends and family. Entertainment was provided by The Fun Photo Booth, a clown, two moonwalks and of course a pinata. The adults, um, I mean the kids had so much fun! Pictures will be posted soon. Promise
New Years Eve Party
Chapter 1 day 1 of two thousand and ten is nearly over. But at least we started it with a bang. Celebrating with family and friends to welcome the new years was a blast. We are so blessed to be able to spend these precious moments together with our loved ones.

Event:2009 CNP Holiday Party
Another one for the books. The IT department pulled off another successful holiday party coordinated by Gloria T. Without her efforts, everyone would go hungry and stare at each other from across the table. Thankfully, she knows how to organize these events.

was a blast. The costumes were great and so were the surprises. I took a few shots of the event and hopefully you enjoy them.
