Booking a Session
You must contact GUINHAWA PHOTOGRAPHY to schedule your session. Once your session has been scheduled, you may pay the Retainer Fee online. By paying your Retainer Fee you are agreeing to these terms of service.
A retainer fee of 50% of total package is required to hold the date of your event. No date is reserved until a retainer is received. The balance of the complete package price must be paid at least 30 days prior to the event. If final payment is not received, GUINHAWA PHOTOGRAPHY will not be expected to attend said event.
Retainer Fees are non-refundable and should be paid as soon as possible to confirm and hold your dates.
Cancellation / Rescheduling
GUINHAWA PHOTOGRAPHY must be notified immediately of any changes in schedule or location, at least two weeks prior to the scheduled dates of event. Notification of any changes can be made by phone along with written notice sent via email for documentation. If an email is sent, a confirmation of receipt must be in writing. It is the client’s responsibility to confirm all arrangements at least 14 days prior to the event. In the event of change of address or contact information (time, etc.) as listed, you must notify GUINHAWA PHOTOGRAPHY.
If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours before the portrait session time, or do not appear for the portrait session, the Retainer Fee is forfeited and you must pay a new Retainer Fee in order to re-schedule a new portrait session date/time. The new Retainer Fee is non-refundable and will be applied toward your new portrait session fee and order total. If it is raining at the time of the outdoor photo session, we can reschedule without forfeiting your Retainer Fee.
IMPORTANT: We will notify you should bad weather potentially be an issue with the photo shoot, and if you have doubts, please call to avoid loss of your Retainer Fee!
Checks payable to GUINHAWA PHOTOGRAPHY.
Returned checks are subject to a $50.00 returned check fee. Client assumes responsibility for any and all collection costs and legal fees incurred by GUINHAWA PHOTOGRAPHY in the event of enforcement of this contract becomes necessary. All legal action shall take place in Fort Bend County, Richmond, Texas.
Online Proofs are usually available within a week. If you place your order within two weeks after viewing the proofs, you may take advantage of various special discount packages we offer. After that, our standard A La Carte pricing applies.
Once you have made your selection, and place your order, you will be provided an invoice for the total amount due. Upon receipt of payment, we will work on fulfilling your order.
Order fulfillment turnaround time depends on various factors. Our number one priority is to provide high quality images and prints. Typically, orders are fulfilled no later than three weeks. Please let us know if you need work done ASAP.
Images are edited at the photographer’s discretion, and delivered prints may not include all images shot. The photographer reserves the creative right to edit and release only those deemed creditable as professional in quality and within the photographer’s artistic standards.
GUINHAWA PHOTOGRAPHY cannot be held responsible for damage to garments during environmental events. Client is responsible to arrange personal assistance for garments.
In the event of illness or sudden event out of the control of both parties, GUINHAWA PHOTOGRAPHY will attempt to substitute a photographer at no cost to client. This contract will be transferable to said Photographer.
Due to the lack of information about how long CDs/DVDs can hold information, GUINHAWA PHOTOGRAPHY recommends you back up your images on another media format other than CD/DVD. GUINHAWA PHOTOGRAPHY also recommends making multiple copies of CDs/DVDs every year to insure the images for years to come. GUINHAWA PHOTOGRAPHY cannot be held responsible for the failure of CDs/DVDs due to mishandling. It is the client’s responsibility to keep several copies of any CDs/DVDs in more than one location, and back the images up on another format such as a hard drive.
